Simon Logan joins Dune Radio
Dune Radio are pleased to announce that Simon Logan is joining the station.
Simon grew up locally in Southport, went to Stanley High School and was the resident DJ at the now defunct Toad Hall in Ainsdale.
Simon said ‘i’m delighted to be joining the team at Dune Radio. 31 years ago i was on the very first outing of the original “Dune FM” back in 1993 as part of their very first trial broadcasts’.
Since then Simon has picked up two Sony Awards and presented breakfast shows for 15 years for big city stations and currently is presenting on BBC Radio Newcastle and BBC Tees.
Dune Radio’s Content Director, Andy Hilbert said: ‘It’s an absolute pleasure to have Simon joining us. Being local to the area too, he is a perfect addition to our already great team’.
Andy added: ‘This is just one of the many exciting developments of the radio station as we move forward, as we take the ‘Dune Radio’ brand into 2024’.
Simon will locally host his Retro Top 40 Countdown on Dune Radio every Sunday from 5pm.
