Wayfarers Arcade: One Great Day Event

A charity family fun day is to be held on Saturday 8 June at Wayfarers Shopping Arcade, Lord Street, Southport 10am – 4pm as part of the One Great Day national charity event www.theonegreatday.com

There will be stalls selling lots of interesting gifts and specialist foods etc. and there is still an opportunity to hire a stall and be part of this great event.

Stalls do not cost a lot to hire so if you have some interesting things to sell and would like to take up the opportunity to take part in this fun event and sell your goods then now is the time to book your place.

Visitors will enjoy a truly British ‘summer fete’ within the stunning Grade II Victorian Wayfarers Arcade. There will be bunting and bands, crafts and cakes, toys and gifts, children’s entertainment, music and fun!

This year is the first time Wayfarers has joined in the national One Great Day fundraising event and is looking to raise lots of money for two very worthy charities. Derian House children’s Hospice is currently supporting more than 300 families who have a child or young adult suffering from a life shortening condition, as well as providing bereavement support for a further 200 families.

The second charity to benefit from the event is Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital which is world renowned and helps sick children from all over the country as well as other parts of the world.
